Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a prosperous family. Alison is the youngest among three siblings. While in a convent, she discovered an appreciation for arts. Then, she attended the National College of Fine Arts of Dublin but left due to the fact that she had a lack of motivation. The thought was that she'd take a break for a while to get her bearings. While she was chatting with friends at a cafe, a still-photographer approached her and wanted to know if she would be interested in modelling. In the hopes that she would make some pocket money from the business, she decided to accept. The modeling business proved profitable and enjoyable, and very soon she did it professionally. It was possible for her to travel the world with her commercial ventures after completing modeling contracts. The casting director saw the work she was modeling and encouraged her to try acting. She was sent to London at age 19, in which she was able to win an audition to appear in the latest James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). The passion for acting inspired her to take up acting as a profession. She was a part of TV dramas in London and Dublin after her debut film. The biggest moment for her was when she was cast for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as the Aryan seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider.
