Jamie Colby

Colby, National News Anchor and Correspondent for Fox News has worked there since July of 2003. Colby has been anchor, reporter and correspondent at CBS News prior to becoming a correspondent for FOX News Channel. Colby worked as a stand-in on CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby was admitted to practice law throughout New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. In 2002 she was awarded the Edward R.Murrow National Award for her work on the terrorist attacks on 9/11. She also won the Gracie Award for investigative journalism in 2000. She also won in 2001, the Clarion Award by the Association for Women in Communications. The award also included her as Television Week's "Rising News Star To Keep an Eye On". Colby was an attorney who, aside from her profession as a journalist, also worked for 10 years at a private practice. The law firm was founded by Colby when she was a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. When she was 22, she worked as a reporter for Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC as well as during the divorce. Since January 2015, Colby has served as reporter and host on her Fox Business show, Strange Inheritance. The show focuses on quirky or surprising legacy left behind by friends or family
